What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website remember things such as the contents of your cart or the language you chose.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies. These are needed for the store to work and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you for advertising.
- wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart: keep the contents of your cart and your checkout session. Kept for up to 2 days, or until the end of the session.
- wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*: keep you signed in to your account, only if you sign in. Deleted when you sign out, or after up to 14 days if you choose “Remember me”.
- cookie_notice_accepted: remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so the banner does not appear on every page. Kept for 30 days.
- avk_lang: remembers the language you chose (English or Georgian). Kept for 12 months.
- avk_geo: stores a two-letter country code so that visitors in Georgia see the Georgian version. Kept for 30 days.
Analytics and advertising cookies. At the moment we do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. If we add them in the future, they will be used only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated first.
Third-party services
- Payment page. When you pay, the payment is handled by our licensed payment service provider on its own secure page. That provider may set its own necessary cookies for security, fraud prevention and 3D Secure, under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts. The website loads fonts from Google (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address to deliver the font files. No cookies are set for this.
- Country lookup. On your first visit your browser asks country.is (or geojs.io as a backup) which country your IP address belongs to. No cookies are set by these services; the result is stored in the avk_geo cookie described above.
How to control cookies
- Use the Accept or Decline buttons in the cookie banner. Declining does not affect the necessary cookies the store needs to work.
- You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button below or on the Privacy Policy page.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the cart and checkout will not work.
